Day 1:
Arrival in Lima, reception and transportation to the hotel.
Day 2:
Lima
City Tour
This excursion includes a combination of Pre-Hispanic era, colonial
period, and modern Lima, and enables the visitor to get acquainted with
Lima's complete history.
The tour takes you to the historical center, Paseo la Republica, San
Martin Square, Main Square, Government Palace, Basilica Cathedral , City
Hall Palace, and colonial mansions. It also visits the convent and
church of San Francisco, the greatest monumental assembly of colonial
art in America. The tour continues through the residential areas of San
Isidro, Miraflores and modern Lima.

Day 3:
Lima - Arequipa
AM – You will be transported from the hotel in Lima to the airport for a
flight to Arequipa. After arrival and transportation to the hotel, you
will have the morning free.
PM – In the afternoon, we will take a city tour of the beautiful city of
Arequipa, visiting the Chilina valley and the old San Lazaro district. A
broad view of the city will be seen from the Yanahuara Belvedere,
followed by a visit to the Plaza de Armas and its Cathedral, the
cloisters of La Compañia Church, and the church and square of San
Francisco. We will visit the extraordinary Santa Catalina convent, which
is built from volcanic lava and dates from the 16th century, and we’ll
see with the best preserved mummy in South America, “Juanita,” stored at
the university. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

Day 4:
Arequipa - Colca Canyon
We will depart Arequipa, passing near the thermal baths of Yura and
climbing up towards the National Reserve of Pampa de Cañahuas, which is
situated at 3,800m. Here, groups of alpacas, vicuñas and sometimes
guanacos can be seen. After driving several hours, the group descends
into the Colca Valley until we arrive in Chivay, the most important town
of the valley. We will spend the night in a hotel set in the Colca
Valley with its very own hot springs, relaxing in the fabulous
surroundings of the Canyon.

Day 5:
Arequipa - Colca Canyon
After breakfast and an early departure, we will reach the Cruz del
Condor viewpoint, a few kilometers before Cabana conde, where the Colca
Canyon starts. Here you will enjoy fine views of the flight of condors
and views into the mighty canyon’s depths. In the afternoon, we will
return to Arequipa and to the hotel.

Day 6:
Arequipa - Cusco
AM - Early in the morning you will be transported to the airport for a
flight to Cusco.
After 45 minutes, you will arrive and be taken to the hotel
PM - Cusco City Tour
Duration: From 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
The tour includes the most significant sites in and around Cusco City,
such as: the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), which displays the best
Inca stonework in the city, and the Cathedral in Cusco’s Main Square
with its magnificent colonial art. The tour drives along the
Circunvalacion Road up to the famous fortress of Saqsahuaman, the
amphitheatre of Qenqo, the fortress of Pukapukara and the spring shrine
of Tambomachay.

ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins as well, round

Day 7:
Cusco - Sacred Valley Tour
AM - Duration: 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
The tour includes a guided visit to the native market of Pisaq, where
you can purchase beautiful textiles, jewelry and ceramics at bargain
prices. Our next stops will be Calca and Urubamba, where we will have
lunch. We will continue to Ollantaytambo, where the group will visit the
archeological site, and then visit Chinchero's market.

Day 8:
Cusco - Inca Trail 4D/3N
Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (Day 1: Cusco - Km 82 - Wayllabamba)
We will depart from Cusco and travel to Urubamba, where we will have a
brief stop, and then continue on to Chillca to start the trek. We will
have lunch in Miskay with an additional rest of about a half hour, after
which we will start our trek to the first campsite. Along the way we
will visit the archeological site of Llactapata.
We will have breakfast early and start trekking to the highest point of
the
Inca Trail, where we can see different ecological zones and enjoy
changing climates. We will cross the Warmiwañusca pass at 4200 meters
above sea level. After lunch we will continue on to the campsite at
Pacaymayo and enjoy dinner and a well deserved rest.
We will walk approximately 45 minutes to reach the second pass at 3850
meters above sea level and visit Runcuracay along the way. We will also
visit the Sayacmarca archeological group and continue on to the
Phuyupatamarca ruins. After lunch we will head to Wiñaywayna, where we
will spend our last night.
After an early breakfast, we will start on the final leg of the trek to
Machu Picchu. We will arrive at Inti Punku, where we will have a
panoramic view of the Machu Picchu citadel. After a short hike down to
Machu Picchu, we will register and start our 3 hour guided visit. After
enjoying the ruins, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where
you will have a buffet lunch in a typical restaurant and then have free
time to enjoy the town before we return to Cusco.
