Inka
Trail 6 Days / 5 Nights
Day 1: CUSCO - SAYLLAPATA – SALKANTAY
PAMPA

We undertake our trek slowly
continuing through beautiful landscapes until HUMANTAY
(5917m) then we continue toward the gulch of SALKANTAY
where we will camp. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) |
Day 2: SALKANTAYPAMPA – SISAY PAMPA
|
 |
Today we will begin our trek with
exceptional views of the snowy one SALKANTAY (6271) as
we ascend toward the step of INCACHIRIASCA (4880m) this
beautiful mountain amazed us. Then we descend to
SISAYPAMPA where we will camp to the snowy foot of the
majestic one of SALKANTAY. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner) |
Day 3: SISAY PAMPA – CANAL INCA – WAYLLABAMBA

After a healthy breakfast, we begin
the walk, toward the valley of PAMPACAHUA where we will
find remains of an Inca channel, then we descend until
the archaeological group of PAUCARCANCHA where after
visiting him we will camp (Breakfast, lunch, dinner).

DAY 4: WAYLLABAMBA - HIGHEST POINT
OF THE TREK – PACCAYMAYU

We start off early after breakfast
and trek to the highest point on the trail passing
through different climates and ecological zones as we
ascend the WARMIWANUSCA PASS at 4200 meters After the
breakfast we will undertake with our ascent, the first
two hours we will walk among an abundant vegetation with
trees of wild |

origin, for such a reason

fauna at 3800msnm, starting from there until the

DAY 5: INKA SITES

DAY 6: TO MACHUPICCHU

It is the day more important of our
journey, that day we will wake up AM at 4:00 o'clock,
after the breakfast we will go toward our final
destination in the freshness from the dawn to 40 minutes
we will arrive to the SUNGATE place of where we will
have the first very impressive view of the enigmatic
citadel of surrounded |

MACHUPICCHU of mountains covered
with vegetation, valleys, rivers. After a rest we will
descend toward the same citadel to visit the most
important places, after the visit we will have a free
time to explorer ourselves, in the afternoon we will
take our return train to CUSCO |

YOU SHOULD BRING:

A backpack with a change of clothes
for the whole period of
the trek

Rain gear (jacket and pants if
available) or rain poncho.

Strong footwear, waterproof trekking
boots recommended

Warm clothes, including jacket,
fleeces. Thermal clothing is
also recommended, especially for
sleeping.

Sleeping bag (it can be hired at our
agency)

Flashlight and batteries
·
Camera, films and batteries
(batteries consume more quickly
under cold conditions)

Hat or cap to protect you from the
sun, rain and cold

Sun block cream, mosquitoes
repellent.
